Good morning,

Unfortunately mother nature just isn't on our side this week.  Due to the extremely cold water temperatures and the outside temperature not warming up as the day goes on, we are cancelling the mock meet and we will NOT be having any practice.  However, we do know you have questions about the meet, especially our new families!

So, with that said, we will have regular practice tomorrow (the sun is supposed to come out).  Additionally, we will have a parents meeting, for anyone who wants to attend, at 5:45pm at the pool.  Coach Brooke and I will be there and walk everyone through a meet and what you can expect as it relates to check-in, volunteering, event assignments and more!  During practices over the next days leading up to our meet, the coaches will review with the swimmers when they are supposed to go the the clerk of course, what the clerk of course is, and anything else that has to do with the swim meet.  The kids will have opportunities to practice starts off the blocks or from the side of the pool like a real meet as well, so everyone should be comfortable going into Wednesday.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, I will be sending out a recap and am also available to answer any questions you may have via email, phone, or text.

Registration for the meet next week will be opening soon, I'll send out communication once that is available.
